Terms and conditions

1. Thank you for using Co-op@CUHK Placement Portal. Any organization wishing to announce your job vacancies to the Co-op students should register to an account prior to posting a job advertisement onto the platform. This service is free of charge.
2. Employer MUST present the VALID and accurate business information for registration. For some cases, Co-op Team may require employer to provide Business Registration (or equivalent) Certificate Copy for verification. Posting request will NOT be processed in the absence of this valid document, if required.
3. The job vacancies announced via Co-op@CUHK Placement Portal should all be in line with the Employment Ordinance and the Minimum Wage Ordinance under the Hong Kong Law.
4. No postings will be made for an Employer who does not practice equal opportunity. The job postings should apply equally to all and the job content does not contain discriminatory elements (e.g. female is preferred; candidate should be in 5′ 6” tall; physically fit; in good health; single……), which may violate the Sex, Disability, Family Status or Race Discrimination Ordinances.
5. In compliance with the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance, information provided by the Co-op students will be used only for selection and employment-related purposes and will only be made accessible to staff involved in the recruitment process of the Employer.
6. Co-op@CUHK reserves the right not to accept the job posting(s) or decide the part of information to be posted up. Deletion of outdated information would be arranged in regular intervals.
7. This service should not be used for recruiting indirect employees by any recruitment agencies or in any manner in which fees are levied and profits are made. All activities carried out by the Employer should be legal and in compliance with the Labour Laws
8. Co-op@CUHK reserves the right to change the guidelines. In case of any dispute arising from the guidelines, the decision of Co-op@CUHK shall be final.
